Thirty families -- including 53 children -- participated in this past Saturday’s Gingerbread Bash!!

Masters of Ceremonies Dave and Debbie Conner read the biblical narrative of the Christmas Story and gave a Christmas message. Dave challenged the kids that sometimes the best gifts come in plain packages: Jesus came as a king in a worn-down stable (not a palace!), for all people, to save us from our sin. The kids opened the shiny, glittery package only to find socks! The worn-out, beaten-up package contained a nativity set with baby Jesus. The Conners also led games and songs. Families made their own nativities, milk and cookies were served, and the Gingerbread Man made a guest appearance!
