Men of All Saints': PRAY! (Pray Routinely All Year)
Men Of All Saints’ Church and Men in Our Community,
Through prayer and discernment, a common theme emerged during this winter for the life of our church and our community.
WE NEED PRAYER and WE NEED TO BE PRAYING.
It is not uncommon for all of us to experience multiple challenges including our health, job stress, and life’s challenges that impact us every day. Moreover, there are personal concerns to navigate including family issues, financial stress, and cultural issues which give us great concern. All of this affects our spiritual lives in one form or another. This is why daily prayer is so vital to our walk in faith. For this reason, we are hopeful—prayerfully so—that men will gather and be in prayer about the issues they need to bring to God. Indeed, to gather and pray for other men who need encouragement to face life’s challenges.
For this reason, the All Saints’ Men’s Ministry invites each man to PRAY!
All men are encouraged to pray daily at times and locations that fit our busy schedules. A good way to implement this discipline is to use the online Family Prayer liturgy that provides a great structure to pray any time of the day. Here is the link: The Daily Office
All men are invited to the Prayer Center at All Saints’ Church every Saturday between 8 a.m. – 9 a.m. to share concerns, receive encouragement, and PRAY.
And remember this: Hebrews 10: 24-25 says “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”
We look forward to seeing you at the Prayer Center!
