The Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) Update
The Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) leadership team would like to thank All Saints’ Church for the support you have provided our MOPS group this Fall. We appreciate the resources the church extends to us in helping to make our program a success.
MOPS International encourages and equips moms of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women and leaders, in relationship with Jesus, and in partnership with the local church. MOPS often serves as a stepping-stone for moms to become part of a church family. Over the course of the Fall semester, approximately 16 moms have visited our group and 12 preschoolers have attended our MOPS childcare program.
We were blessed to have Shelley Lingimfelter, Tara Pedersen, and Lydia Pedersen all serve as childcare volunteers this semester. While the children enjoyed supervised time on the playground, our MOPS moms were able to experience time for fellowship and opportunities to learn from guest speakers. As a group, we collected items for Operation Christmas Child and held a packing party for our children to pack Christmas boxes. At each meeting, we shared in the joys and struggles of motherhood and sought to walk alongside each other during this season of motherhood.
Looking ahead to the Spring, we are prayerfully considering ways to continue to support our MOPS moms and to find ways to serve moms within our community.
Thank you for your commitment to MOPS. We are grateful to you and pray along with you that women, children, and families will be transformed by their encounters with Jesus this year through our church and our MOPS ministry.
Blessings,
The All Saints’ Church MOPS Leadership Team
