Sunday School: "Acts"

This class will start Sunday, September 10 during the Sunday School Hour (9:45-10:45 a.m.).

“Acts” The Spirit moved in dramatic ways in the early church. The Gospel was preached, thousands were added to their number, many were healed, and the good news about Jesus was spread across continents. Covering the exciting action of the Spirit in the years just following Jesus' life on earth, this study will open your eyes to the Spirit’s power in the past and the present and help you apply the riches of Scripture to your own life.

“Acts” by John Stott is a book small group augmented by video segments and will meet in the Creation Room of the Children’s Wing. Study guides will be available on the first day of class for $12 each (Kindle version is $10.49 if you choose to order on your own). Coffee/Tea will be provided.

Sunday School: "The Good and Beautiful God"

This book study begins Sunday, September 17 during the Sunday School Hour (9:45-10:45 a.m.).

This deep, loving and transformative book will help you discover the narratives that Jesus lived by—to know the Lord he knew and the kingdom he proclaimed—and to practice spiritual exercises that will help you grow in the knowledge of our good and beautiful God.

This study will meet in the Bishop’s area (second floor) above All Saints’ Administration Wing. Books will be available on the first day of class for $15 each (Kindle version is $14.24 if you choose to order on your own). Coffee/Tea will be provided.

Homebound Bible Study: Thursdays 7-8:30 p.m.

The new Zoom Homebound small group on Thursdays 7-8:30 p.m. will begin a new study September 7th on “Forever”, a video Bible study developed by Dr. Paul Tripp.

Instead of embracing the world's motto---'you only live once'---follow Tripp as he unpacks the biblical truth of the world as a broken place, longing for a second chance. And come alive as you discover the meaning and redemption all this brokenness can bring to your life today!

Dr. Tripp attended Columbia Bible College (now Columbia International University) and majored in Bible and Christian Education. He went on to receive his M.Div from the Reformed Episcopal Seminary and his D.Min in Biblical Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary.

If you are homebound and want to join, all you need is a computer or a smart phone, and internet service. If you don’t know how to use Zoom, we can help you. Please contact Deacon Julie Tilton at jtilton@allsaintswoodbridge.org.

Pre-K Class & Elementary Class

The ‘Simply Loved’ curriculum will continue this fall for ages 3 through 6th grade, as children explore the New and Old Testaments, and discover friendship with Jesus throughout God’s story. Children will participate in worship songs, meet a Bible Buddy that ties Bible points to animal facts, learn new Bible stories, and participate in a hands-on activity or game.

Our children are Simply Loved as they are engaged with relational interaction, conversation, and teachings to understand Bible truths and trigger scripture memory, while all pointing to their own friendship with Jesus.

Children's Church: Available at 8:15 & 11 a.m.

What is Children's Church?

Children’s Church offers Bible teaching through stories in ways that guide kids in worshipful experiences that help grow their friendship with God.

Every Sunday, our children are invited to Sunday School and Children's Church!

  • 815 a.m. Children’s Church: a very small group in a quieter setting.

  • 11 a.m. Children's Church: NEW this year! PreK-2nd Grade and 3rd-5th Grade.

With fun and engaging storytelling with the GO! Curriculum, children go through the entire Bible each year chronologically to the Christian calendar, while deepening their faith in worship through songs, a quiet reflect and response time, and a small group activity to all deepen and develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
