Children's Summer Sunday School  (9:45-10:45 a.m.) begins Sunday, June 9, and brings new opportunities for elementary children to engage in the Bible along with hands-on projects and creations. 

June & July: Amazing Nature! 

A seven-week study of how we can connect with God every day in nature as we learn from the book of Psalms. The Psalms are a collection of hymns and poetry in our Holy Bible that offers some beautiful descriptions of God’s deep care and use for all of nature. Each week we will look to see what the Psalms say about the amazing land, sea, sky, plants, animals, humanity, and ecosystem while also creating, caring for creation, and crafting. 

August: Backpacks, Blessings, & New Beginnings

The new school year brings challenges and changes. While blending biblical teachings with practical advice, this four-week series provides children with spiritual tools to navigate the new academic year confidently while reaffirming that God is their constant companion and source of strength.

Our summer offerings are for children in rising Kindergarten through rising 5th Grade. The nursery is open for infants through age 5. Our Fall Kickoff will again welcome Pre-K children to Sunday School.

Upper & Lower Children's Church will continue with the engaging GO! Curriculum! Older elementary children receive interactive Bible lessons in spiritual gifts, God's love, the Armor of God, and managing our emotions with God's help. Our young children will explore playful adventures in the early church, superstars of the Bible, and loving & sharing like Jesus.

Storytime at Cloverdale Park continues at Cloverdale Park (Dale City), Thursdays at 10 a.m. Bring the kids to enjoy a quality children's book, parallel craft, and snacks, all while romping the playground and meeting new community friends. Read more.
