On Jan., 6 at 7 p.m., All Saints’ will offer a special worship service (livestream via YouTube) to welcome the season of Epiphany. The service will include Holy Eucharist.
Epiphany marks the end of the twelve days of Christmas. It commemorates the revelation of who Jesus is to the gentiles, represented by the Magi (Mt. 2:1-2) and as prophesied by Simeon when the baby Jesus was presented at the Temple (see Luke 2: 25-32, especially vss. 29-32).
We will not have the 3 kings/Magi visit that night. The following Sunday, December 10, is when the Three Kings will visit in the All Saints’ annual tradition.
