All Saints’ has traditionally encouraged the church “to be overflowing with God’s love...” with our neighborhoods on Halloween as we “Shine Our Light this Night!” This is the chance to bring the light and love of Jesus to a dark night by sharing Christian hospitality and friendship. As Halloween is on a Thursday this year, our regular day for Storytime in the Park, we will be hosting a “Shine Your Light Storytime” at Cloverdale Park, 10 a.m. – 12 noon, for children age 5 and under and their parents/caregivers! We will read the classic It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, play simple games, make pumpkin crafts, have a park parade of costumes, and distribute Shine Your Light for Jesus bags in the park (to include a church invite).
Volunteer to shine your light into the Dale City Cloverdale Park: If you are available to help little ones with pumpkin ring toss or bowling/bean bag games on the lawn, or coloring animal face masks on Thursday, October 31, 10 a.m. - 12 noon, please contact Tara.
In the event of inclement weather, we will meet indoors in the church Multi-Purpose Room.
