May Birthdays & Anniversaries
Operation Christmas Child Equipping Event
Do you find joy in preparing gift boxes for Operation Christmas Child (OCC)? Since 1993, more than 209 million children in more than 170 countries and territories have received an Operation Christmas Child shoebox, and All Saints' Church has sent thousands of them! The project delivers not only the joy of what, for many kids, is their first gift ever, but also gives them a tangible expression of God's love, and the gospel message.
In preparation for the collection season, October and November, you are invited to an Equipping Workshop on Saturday, May 20, 3 p.m.-5 p.m., at Prince of Peace United Methodist Church, 6299 Token Forest Drive, Manassas. This OCC Team Event will be hosted by Samaritan's Purse Area Project Leaders for Prince William County to share ideas and resources available for our church, as well as Samaritan's Purse exciting updates. If you would like to attend, please contact Tara.
Name Tag Update
Thank you to those who submitted their names to receive a new name tag. Unfortunately the new lanyards we ordered were not printed correctly so we are waiting to receive the correct lanyards. We will keep the congregation updated as we receive more information. In the meantime, if you have not already submitted your name to receive a new name tag, you can still fill out the sheet on the clipboard in the Atrium.
Upcoming Baptism Class
All Saints’ next scheduled baptism will be on Pentecost, May 28, 2023, at the 11 a.m. service. The required pre-baptismal discernment class will be held at the church on Saturday, May 6, 2023, from 1-3 p.m. for infant and child baptisms.
To register, please contact Deacon Julie Tilton via email or by phone 703-670-0093. This public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ takes place during Sunday morning worship on or near four occasions each year: Pentecost (May 28), All Saints’ Day (October 22), The Baptism of Our Lord (the Sunday after the Epiphany), and Easter Eve (a Saturday evening service).
More information about the meaning of baptism can be found in questions/answers #126-130 listed in To Be a Christian, An Anglican Catechism of the Anglican Church in North America.

You're Invited: Anglicans for Life Spring Chapter Meeting
The All Saints' Church Anglicans for Life Chapter is hosting a meeting on Sunday, May 7, at 1:00 p.m. in the Children's Wing. This meeting is open to all All Saints' Parishioners interested in Life Issues. Our guest speaker will be Allie LaCourse, Virginia Coordinator for "Her Plan", a directory of services and support for mothers who have chosen to keep their baby rather having an abortion. She will provide information on how All Saints' can become involved with Her Plan as well as a more hands on support activity called "Embrace Grace". In this post Roe era, it is vitally important for those of us who are supporting Life Choices as a moral stand also become involved in practical ways to support women who choose life. Please come and bring a friend. Light refreshments will be provided.
