Each family will make a gingerbread nativity, play games, sing carols, hear the Christmas story from the Bible, and discover that sometimes the greatest gift comes in the most ordinary box. Christmas cookies & milk will be provided too! Each family is encouraged to invite an unchurched friend or neighbor to sit with you at your table. Grandparents, invite your grandchildren or a neighborhood family! Ages infant through middle school (with a caregiver or family).
This is an all-church outreach event with a need for adults of all ages to help plate, serve, and donate cookies.

Gingerbread Kit Assembly Workshop We will prep for our Gingerbread Bash family event by assembling boxed kits of candies, graham crackers, icing, and paper nativity cutouts on Monday, December 2, at 10 a.m. in the Administrative Conference Room. (Families at the event will be making gingerbread nativities as they hear the nativity story from the Bible). If you have 1-2 hours to assemble kits with Tara, please RSVP to tpedersen@allsaintswoodbridge.org. Gingerbread & coffee refreshments provided as we enjoy the festive preparations!
Gingerbread Icing We need three to four people to prepare a two-ingredient icing for the gingerbread nativity making. The simple icing recipe consists of powdered sugar and meringue powder. If you are interested in preparing a batch (or more) of this at home or in the church kitchen to bring in on the morning of Saturday, December 7, please contact Tara. Ingredients provided.
