The Matthew 25 Initiative, an ACNA organization that equips and sustains Anglicans serving alongside the vulnerable, makes a free Advent booklet available on its website.
“We hope the film will raise up men and women like Bonhoeffer who will be totally committed to Christ no matter the cost” says Emmanuel. “If possible, please try to see the movie on the 1st or 2nd weekend as it sends a message to Hollywood that we want more faith and family-friendly movies.”

On Saturday, November 2, Bishop Chris will offer a teaching at 3 p.m. in the sanctuary followed by an all-church dinner of soup, salad, and breadsticks from The Olive Garden in the Atrium at 5 p.m. (Gluten-free options will be available.) You can come for just the teaching, just dinner, or both! On Sunday, May 26, The Rev. Greg Downes, former teacher of missions and evangelism at the University of Oxford will be at All Saints’ teaching and training us in the principles of personal evangelism from the book of Acts. Following the 11 a.m. service, we will learn from Greg, and practice with each other. The sign up is closed to order lunch and request child care, however, you are welcome to just show up with your bagged lunch, if neither are needed!
Have you started attending All Saints’ Church within the past several months If so, we would like to properly welcome you with a brief meet and greet on Sunday, September 17- immediately following the second service. Light refreshments will be provided, and childcare is available for children in 1st Grade and under. Please contact Tara if your young child is attending as lunch is provided in the nursery. Come to get to know our clergy, and some of our staff members while learning about opportunities within our church!
You can help support the outreach to families in the area neighborhoods with a donation of plastic easter eggs, easter candy, or a door prize for a child! The Road to Resurrection event on April 8 is a wonderful opportunity to grow the relationships with families and children in our Dale City area with the Easter Egg Hunt and Door Prize Drawing. For this event we need:
Door prize gifts for a child (ex. scooter, bicycle, any other treasured childhood toy)
