Pray for Our Teens at Camp!

Please pray for our youth group as they attend their winter retreat- The Booyah Brrr! They will drive down this Friday evening and return Monday afternoon.

Pray that the teens will be able to decompress and draw near to the Lord, without the distraction of complicated learning environments and social media. Every day, they will be taught from the Word and have time to process it alone and with others. Please pray for the youth leaders who will be traveling down with them.

3 King Dolls Find Newborn King

Our 3 king dolls have finished their journey and found the newborn King! Praise be to God! What a journey they had through the entire season of Advent, around Dale City neighborhoods, local parks, car rides around town, the breakfast table, church member homes, and even found their way around All Saints' Church! The children too found our Newborn King with the help of the visiting 3 Kings in Children's Church, hearing all about their journey in word and song on Epiphany Sunday. Thank you again to our treasured Margaret Nicholas donating the King dolls for our children.

Here is a glimpse of our Kings on their journey:

We Believe: An Exploration and Celebration of the Creeds of the Church

The creeds are something we say as part of our worship each week and an integral part of most of our liturgies. Perhaps you wondered where they came from, why they are worded as they are and how they shape our faith. Come join us, over the next 6 weeks, as we look at the history, biblical basis and spiritual significance of the 3 creeds in our Book of Common Prayer – the Apostles Creed, the Nicene Creed and the perhaps less familiar, Athanasian Creed. This study will meet at the Education Hour (9:45-10:40 am.), in the Sanctuary, beginning Sunday, January 9.

Beth Moore & Moms Reflections at Panera

  • What? A conversation for mothers of all ages and stages!

  • Where? Dumfries Panera (by Target)

  • When? Beginning Thursday, January 27, 7:15-8:15 p.m. and continuing on Thursdays.

Motherhood gently tugs on our heartstrings but puts grace at our feet. Receive the Lord's grace, so you can reflect that grace to your children. In Beth Moore's most personal book, Feathers From My Nest: A Mother's Reflection, Beth reflects on memories of raising her daughters, as they leave the nest from college. As she ponders multiple memories, so rich in tenderness and emotion, Beth draws from spiritual significance about such things as authenticity in the Christian home, communication, encouragement; you don't have to have a perfect home to have a good, strong home and other affirmations. Whether your children are babies or they flew the coup 10 years ago, these reflections remind us of all of the gift of grace children offer in our lives every day. Join other ASC mothers in conversation, facilitated by Tara Pedersen and Katherine Monroe, while enjoying a hot beverage or treat from a favorite bakery!

All ladies welcome~ Biblical reflections applicable to all walks of life.

A Christmas Thank You!

Thank you to everyone that served during Advent in the Living Nativity and in the Family Christmas Eve service prep. It truly was a season of preparation, but with much rejoicing! Over a month's time of practicing songs, rehearsing, costuming, staging, constructing, and more! It all came to be a celebration of a newborn King and a Savior to the world right here in Dale City. Thank you to everyone that contributed in so many ways!

January Food Giveaway!

“You shall open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the poor, in your land.”  Deuteronomy 15:11

Our next parking lot food giveaway is Saturday, January 8. This is another exciting opportunity to bless our community by following the commands of Jesus to help those in need! Anyone in our community who is in need of food is invited to come that day to fill up bags of groceries free of charge.

There are countless ways that you and your family can be involved. From setting up behind the scenes to passing out flyers in the communities that need to hear about the event to serving during the event itself, it will truly take all of us coming together to make this happen. If you are looking for a place for you and/or your family to serve, there are absolutely opportunities for you! Please sign-up here or contact Tammy Bailey  if you have any questions.

A Note of Thanks

With deep appreciation to the All Saint's community for all your prayers, cards, demonstration of support and comfort after the sudden passing of my husband, Darwin Koester, on December 1, 2021. With special thanks and appreciation to the Rev. Scott Bailey and the Rev.
